I want that! When your baby shows interest in your food, it’s a good sign she’s ready for cereal. These are the special milestones to look for. Yay!
At around 6 months when your baby starts sitting up, you can feed rice cereal with a spoon. Don’t be surprised if she spits it out. She’s just getting used to the texture.
Once your baby is 6 months or almost sitting up by himself, introduce a new food to him every 3 days. Every time you open a new jar, you open a whole new world of healthy possibilities. Yum!
After your baby has mastered veggies, move on to some yummy pureed fruits. They’re so healthy for him, and you are giving him a great head start!
Now that your child has transitioned to solids, stick with veggies, fruits, and water to keep them growing strong. You’re laying the groundwork for a really strong, healthy child with habits that last a lifetime!
After 6 months, try a new fruit every 3-5 days. That’s enough time to know if your baby loves it or not, or if she’s allergic. You’re a mom with a good plan!
There are so many good pureed veggies for your baby to try. Sweet potatoes, squash, carrots and more, so try making your own. Be a daring and a darling Mom!
